Joliet Township High School prioritizes our ability to have a positive impact upon our students and the community.  In August of 2011, we launched the JTHS Character Campaign, comprised of “Seven Words That Make a Difference.”  Through careful collaboration with parents, students, staff, community and Board of Education members, we identified our seven character attributes as Compassion, Confidence, Respect, Tolerance, Responsibility, Integrity, and Perseverance.

Utilizing the basic principles of marketing and recognizing the power of advertising, we were able to develop a strategy to ensure that  the JTHS Character Campaign will have a lasting and positive impact. With continued support from local businesses, media and community members, there is no telling the difference these seven words can make!

The last Friday of each month is City-Wide Character in Community Day.  Help us send a positive message to our students through the purchase of character t-shirts.  Wearing the t-shirts within our community, or purchasing a t-shirt for a child, promotes the character attributes and shows that you care.
